What is a disc brake?
Disc brake:
Consists of a brake lever with expansion tank, hydraulic line, brake calliper and brake pads. When the brake lever is operated, the brake fluid is pressed towards the brake calliper. This presses the brake pistons and thus the brake pads together in the brake calliper. The resulting friction between the pads and the brake disc leads to a deceleration of the wheel.
